On Day 10 in Kenya our team had the privilege of driving to the Nakuru National Park, a game preserve, and spent the night there is a wonderful cabin located next to a waterhole, where all kinds of animals came to drink. Utilizing a jeep/van with a lift-up roof, they could all stand up and see the unbelievable array of wild animals around them as they drove through the park, including baboons, zebra, giraffe, gazelle and impala, with the animals coming right up to them. At the waterhole they also saw waterbucks, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, ibis and monkeys, along with lions – 3 female and one male. They also enjoyed comfortable beds, pillows, flushing toilets and showers at the cabin, along with the great meals Candace prepared.
